With all these different partnerships, our challenge was connecting to the right audience, while staying true to the brand. Each of these layouts is specifically designed to the region it’s targeted for, while keeping consistencies like the product, the logo and splashes of green. You will see, in the Outside Lands poster, the vibrant, illustrative visual, pulling in textures, like paper. This is a subtle nod to the use of natural materials, versus the use of plastics. In this year’s program, we wanted to use Heineken to make a difference, encouraging consumers to go green.

Meanwhile, for the US Open visual, I chose to use photography to portray the energy of the game through the bottles themselves. This allows the bottles to stand large and be the focal point of the visual. The cap flying off the bottle is a comparison of the start of a tennis match. This angle is more dynamic and shows more dimension between the products, the ball and the headline.
